How to Integrate with Athena

⚠️ In order to integrate with Athena, there are some things to consider.

We need to enable it for you, follow the steps here and our team will reach out.
You need to have the following AthenaHealth Products, if you're unsure if you have them please reach out to your Practice Manager.
- Athena Clinicals
- Athena Collector
You must be on a Practice Tier Plan for it to work

3. Registrieren Sie Ihr Interesse

Aktivieren Sie das Feld Partner kontaktieren.

Nach Erhalt des Zugangs zur Athena-Integration

Sobald wir Ihnen Zugang genehmigt haben, aktivieren Sie die Integration von Heidi aus wie folgt:

1. Wechseln Sie zu Integrationen in der linken Menüleiste

Navigieren Sie zum Menü auf der linken Seite
Click on "Integrations"

2. Wählen Sie Athena aus dem Dropdown-Menü

Suchen Sie im Bereich Integrationen das Dropdown-Menü
Choose "Athena" from the list

3. Geben Sie Ihre Praxis-ID und Ihren Namen ein

Geben Sie Ihre Praxis-ID in das Feld ein (Sie können diese hier finden)
Geben Sie Ihren Vor- und Nachnamen genau so ein, wie er in Athena angezeigt wird.

4. Wählen Sie den korrekten Athena-Benutzer

5. Click “Connect to Athena”

How to use the Athena integration

View your appointment book
- Open the Sessions panel on the left hand side menu
- Within the Sessions panel, select the Schedule tab
- Wählen Sie den gewünschten Tag aus, indem Sie auf das Kalendersymbol klicken (standardmäßig werden die Sitzungen von heute angezeigt)
- Zeigen Sie die für den Tag gebuchten Termine an
- Wählen Sie den richtigen Patienten aus
Führen Sie Ihre Konsultation wie gewohnt durch
Überprüfen und bearbeiten Sie Ihre Notiz nach Bedarf
When you are ready, click "Push note to Athena"
This will send your note into Assessment under the patient chart

Important:

Only patients who are checked in, in Athena and an encounter has been created will have a “Push to Athena” button. Sie können Sitzungen in Heidi nicht erstellen und an Athena übermitteln.

Verknüpfen Sie Abschnitte Ihrer Notizen in Heidi

Instead of having to cut and paste from within the Assessment tab in Athena, you can now directly link sections of your note from Heidi.

Linking sections from within the Editor

1. You can highlight sections of your note and in the Toolbar you'll get an option to 'Link Section'

2. Heben Sie nun den entsprechenden Abschnitt hervor. Die verknüpften Abschnitte werden dann in Athena angezeigt.

3. Finally, press the push to Athena button.

Linking sections from the Template

1. Open a template in Heidi, you can create a new template or edit an existing one

2. Click and highlight over a block of content in the template editor that you would like to link to a section in Athena

3. Click the link icon on the right-hand-side of the block

4. Select the EHR section from the drop down menu where you want this content to appear (e.g., History of Present Illness, Review of System, Assessment/Plan etc)

5. The linked section will now be displayed in the block. Don't forget to save your template!
