Er noe galt med utdatafilen din?

This guide will help you troubleshoot issues within your session's transkripsjon. Vi veileder deg gjennom klare trinn for å få tingene tilbake på sporet, og forteller deg når du skal eskalere til support eller kontrollere mikrofon-/lydoppsettet ditt.

✅ Quick tip: The transcript powers the note. If it's inaccurate, your note will be too—so always start by checking the transkripsjon Tab.

🔧 How to fix your transcript

For det første, avklare om problemet eksisterer i transkripsjon

  • Problem relatert til transkripsjoner oppstår hvis transkripsjonsfanen er tom, sjekk transkripsjonsfanen for innhold

  • If no content exists, resume transcription and stop after you have said a few lines.

  • If your transcript has the information you expect, then the issue is with how the notat is being generated. You should see an error, and options to resume/regenerate.

Step 1: Ver sikker på at mikrofonen oppdager lyd tydelig

  • To test your microphone, try starting a new session and recording at least 30 seconds of spoken audio.

  • If the microphone captures sound successfully, the issue was likely specific to your previous session.

  • If no audio is captured, you'll need to check your device's audio input settings to ensure the correct microphone is selected and enabled.

  • If the audio failed for your session, then it won't be able to be retrieved. Moving forward it would be important to assure audio is detecting before beginning a session.

Common causes of transcript errors

⚠️ Many transcript issues are linked to audio input problems (e.g., muted microphone, incorrect input selected, poor sound quality).

🎙️ Check out our troubleshooting microphone and audio issues article for steps to:

  • Enable mic permissions

  • Select the correct input

  • Make sure that your microphone is turned on and working

  • Do a quality check of your audio

Here are some platform-specific or setup-related situations that can impact your transcript accuracy:

1. Mobile app: incoming call issues

If you receive a phone call during a mobile app session, it can disconnect your microphone from the session and lead to an incomplete transcript.

Fix: Enable Do Not disturb mode before starting a mobile app session.

2. Browser-based sessions: incomplete or one-sided transcripts

When using the browser version of the app, switching between tabs or applications during your session can temporarily interrupt audio capture. Also, avoid opening multiple tabs of the app in the same browser window, as this can also interrupt your recording.

Fix: Use the desktop app for the best results, especially if you're using the app alongside other applications or browser tabs, or if you're using headphones.

3. In-person or phone sessions: incomplete or one-sided transcript

This is often caused by microphone issues such as:

  • Low volume

  • Background noise

  • Poor recording quality or a microphone that's off, too far away, or has a blocked input

  • A red circle around the microphone icon (which means audio isn't being recorded)

Fix: Make sure that your microphone works properly. You can check our troubleshooting microphone and audio issues in article to follow step-by-step instructions for your setup.

4. transcript issues from language settings

Sometimes, transcription issues can stem from selecting the wrong input or output language before starting your session.

Before you start:

  • Before your session, make sure that you've selected the correct input and output language from the Language tab at the top of your session.

  • Always click Save changes before you start recording.

    • single-language transcription currently offers the best results.

    • multilingual transcription is currently in beta.
