Before you start
You need:
A Heidi account you can sign in to, on a Practice or Enterprise plan.
Your Dental4Windows or Dental4Web organisation ID, the one you use to sign in.
Centaur's authorisation for Heidi to access your practice. Contact your Heidi customer success manager or account executive and ask them to request access for your practice.
To be a practice in Australia.
Finding your organisation ID
Your organisation ID is the one you enter in the Organisation field when you sign in to Dental4Windows or Dental4Web. If you do not have one, contact Centaur Software.
Connect the integration
1. Sign in to Heidi, open Settings > Connectors, and find Dental4Windows Dental4Web under Medical record.
2. Click Dental4Windows Dental4Web, then click Set up connector.
3. Enter your organisation ID and click Continue. Heidi checks the ID with Centaur.
4. Search for your name, select it from the practitioner list, and click Continue. If your name is missing, tick Include inactive practitioners.
5. When "Your connector is connected" appears, click Done.
If Heidi cannot connect to your organisation, check that the ID is correct and that Centaur has authorised Heidi for your practice.
Use the integration
Appointments. Heidi imports your appointments by the selected date. Cancelled appointments are left out. You see your own appointments, not the whole practice.
Start a session. Start a session from an appointment so Heidi links it to the patient. Without this link, the note cannot be pushed back to that patients consultation record.
Send your note. When the note is ready, push it to Dental4Windows or Dental4Web using the button at the top of your note. The note is saved on the patient's treatment record, in the Nt column.
Disconnecting the integration
Open Settings > Connectors > Dental4Windows Dental4Web and click Disconnect connector.
You can reconnect at any time by following the steps above.
