Heidi Home is a feature of Heidi II. Heidi II is currently only available in certain regions and subscription types. If you are currently eligible, you’ll see a new Home page when you log into your Heidi account.
Heidi works best inside the systems your practice already runs such as your EHR, your calendar, and your inbox.
Heidi Home supported connectors
Google:
Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets
Microsoft:
Outlook, Microsoft Calendar, SharePoint and OneDrive
EHRs:
Athena, Cliniko, DrChrono and Veradigm
Connecting
You can connect a connector and check a connection status by asking Heidi to do it for you in the Chat and following the prompts. If a connection fails, Heidi tells you what to do next.
Alternatively, you can enable a connector through Settings > Connectors. To disconnect a connector, you may need to select the connector through Settings > Connectors > Manage connector > Disconnect rather than using Chat.
Already have your EHR connected?
If your EHR is connected to Heidi for Scribe and is on the support list above, you don't need to do any additional setup. Heidi uses the same connection from Home: reading your schedule, linking patients and writing notes back. Writing notes back through a direct connection doesn't draw on your monthly usage.
What connected Heidi can do
Once connected, you can:
Ask a specific question of your EHR in Chat and get a cited answer.
Pull tomorrow's appointment list for any date range.
Push a note into any EHR Heidi recognises.
Draft outbound mail, like a referral letter. Heidi can't send it, you approve the exact text before it goes, and a copy of what was sent is kept.
When there's no connector
For systems Heidi doesn't integrate with directly and EHRs that are not currently supported, Heidi can work the screen the way you would. For example, filling forms, navigating records, taking actions, with no integration required. This is limited to your primary display, and Heidi can see everything on that screen while it's working. This does draw on your monthly usage.
For example:
Ask Heidi to go to your EHR and pull in patients from your list there.
Heidi will work across your screen navigating to you EHR and patients tab.
It will ask you to approve certain actions before completing them.
