Log out from all devices closes every active login at once, including ones you've forgotten about. Use it if you left Heidi open on a clinic computer, or if you think someone else may have access to your account.
When to use it
The most common reason: you finished a shift, forgot to log out, and you're now somewhere else.
It's also worth using if:
You're handing back or selling a device
You've noticed something unexpected in your account
You want a clean slate after changing your password
How to do it
Go to Settings > Account.
Under Login Details, click Log out from all devices.
Confirm.
💡You'll be signed out of this device too — log back in to keep going.
What happens on your other devices
They won't flash a logged-out screen straight away. The next time someone tries to use Heidi on that device, they'll hit the login page. There's no way to keep working once this is done.
Who can use this
Available for most Heidi accounts. Not supported if you sign in with Apple or through an enterprise SSO provider.
Per-device visibility - seeing exactly where you're logged in - will be released in a future update.
Troubleshooting
The 'Log out from all devices' button isn't available in my settings.
Your account likely uses Sign in with Apple or enterprise SSO. Those accounts don't support this yet.
Another device still shows that I'm logged into Heidi.
It'll redirect to the login page the next time the page loads or any action is taken. It can't be used - it just hasn't shown the screen yet.
I logged out by mistake.
No problem, you can simply log back in. Nothing will have been deleted.
