Push Session Notes to your EHR on Mobile

This article covers how to push notes to your EHR from the Heidi mobile app, which integrations are supported, and current limitations.

From iOS 3.4.3 and Android 3.4.0, you can push notes directly to your EHR from the Heidi mobile app - no need to switch to the web after recording on your phone.

For more information around Heidi on iOS and Android, see Heidi Mobile App.

Current supported integrations

  • Nookal

  • Cliniko

Additional integrations are being developed, and this list will continue to grow over time.

How it works

After recording and reviewing your session, tap Push to EHR from the session view. Your note is sent to the connected patient record as a whole note.

  1. Conduct a new session, or select an existing one.

  2. Open that session view.

  3. In the top-right corner, select the Share icon.

  4. Within the menu, tap Push to [integration].

  5. Once complete, the session note will be available in your integration.

Supported features on mobile

Mobile currently supports whole note push only. Notes are pushed as a single block of text - section-level mapping (where content distributes across specific fields in your EHR) is not available on mobile yet.

Requirements

  • iOS 3.4.3 or Android 3.4.0, or later

  • An active Nookal or Cliniko integration already configured on your Heidi account

Sectional notes on mobile are coming: Support for pushing sectional notes - where content maps to specific fields in your EHR - is on the way for a number of integrations.
