De Evidence-functie van Heidi stelt betrouwbare, onafhankelijke klinische bewijs in je hand — rechtstreeks naast je consulten, volledig zonder advertenties.
What is Evidence?
Evidence is Heidi's built-in clinical knowledge tool. Unlike a standard search or chatbot, Evidence doesn't just give you an answer — it shows you the strength of the evidence behind it and the exact sources it used to get there.
You can use Evidence for:
Quick clinical answers
Diagnostic workup support
Medication safety and dosing checks
Treatment decisions
Exam preparation
Find it in the left-hand menu bar of Heidi.
Source control
What sets Evidence apart is source control. Rather than searching across the entire internet, you choose which sources Heidi draws from — regional guidelines, primary evidence, or your organisation's own local guidelines via a bespoke library, for example.
Every answer is built only from the sources you've selected, giving you full confidence in what you're reading.
To configure your sources:
Open Evidence from the left-hand menu
Select your preferred sources from the source control panel before running your search
Heidi will draw exclusively from the sources you've selected when generating your answer
Hoe het werkt
Open Evidence from the left-hand menu
Type your question into the chat — for example, "What are the highest-risk presenting symptoms of ACS and what immediate management is indicated?"
Heidi will process for a few seconds, then return:
A list of all sources consulted
A concise summary answering your question
A detailed evidence synthesis, where you can click through individual points to access the underlying paper or reference directly — no paywalls
Evidence is conversational — you're not limited to one question. Ask follow-up questions, refine your search, and Heidi will suggest further questions to help you go deeper.
Linking to a patient session or profile
You can connect an Evidence search to a specific patient session or patient profile, keeping your clinical queries tied to the relevant context. You can also attach a file — such as a pathology report or CT report — for Heidi to reference directly in its search.
Open Evidence from the left-hand menu
Select the session or patient profile you want to reference using the session/patient selector
To attach a file — such as a pathology report or CT report — use the file attachment option and upload the relevant document
Run your search as normal — Heidi will incorporate the linked session or file into its response
Tables and summaries
Within any Evidence conversation, you can ask Heidi to generate a table summarising the evidence returned — useful for quick reference during a consultation or for study and exam preparation.
A note on independence
Evidence is unlimited, independent, and completely ad-free. Every source referenced is accessible in full — no paywalls, no sponsored results, and no external influence on the answers you receive.
